Description
Norheads Farmhouse, dated 1715, is a two-storey building constructed of red brick. It features five windows, a wooden eaves cornice, and a hipped tiled roof, although the glazing bars are missing. A distinctive stringcourse above the ground floor rises in two curves resembling a pediment. The entrance has a flat hood supported by brackets, a rectangular fanlight, and a door with six fielded panels. On the facade, there are two tablets that read: "This house built by John Glover" and "I.G.M. in the year 1715." Inside, one room contains an unusually wide fireplace that predates the facade of the house, complete with a bracket for pots.
