Description
The Biggin Hill War Memorial, built in 1923 with later additions for the Second World War, is made of granite. It features a brick base topped by a stepped plinth and a square column with a capstone. The memorial has inscriptions carved on two sides of the column and base. On one side, it reads: "TO THE FALLEN OF THIS PARISH/ THEY DIED THAT WE MIGHT LIVE," along with names. The other side also displays names. A lead cross is inlaid in the lower base beneath the inscription.
