Description
The outbuildings in the grounds of The Priory are a timber-framed gatehouse or barn dating from the 19th century. They feature plaster infilling and some red brick at the base, topped with a tiled roof. A tall carriage archway is located in the center, with a room above it. On either side, there are long wings that are two storeys high but lower in elevation than the central section. The windows are boarded up. The side facing the road has a ground floor made of flints interspersed with vertical strips of red brick, with weather-boarding above. The right side of the outbuildings was renovated in 1865, and there is a plaque featuring a clasped hand.
