Description

No. 87 High Street is a modest brick building dating from the 18th or 19th century, which incorporates earlier fabric. It stands two storeys high with a hipped, tiled roof. The upper storey features two windows, while the ground floor has a modern shop front. This building appears to be a reconstruction of the north cross-range of a larger structure, which may date back to the 16th century and is represented by the adjacent buildings at nos. 89 to 91.
