Description

East Finchley Baptist Church Hall was built in 1902 by George Baines. This Art Nouveau Gothic church hall is constructed from knapped flint with freestone dressings. It features tapering octagonal buttresses that flank a central bay, which has a segmental-headed seven-light perpendicular traceried window. The entrances are located on either side of a three-light window below. The side bays have hipped slated roofs, and there is an octagonal spirelet set back behind the main gable. The building also includes Art Nouveau ironwork and cresting.
