Description
Nos 152 and 153 on the Strand in Westminster are terrace houses built in the late 17th century or early 18th century, with alterations made in the late 18th century. The houses are constructed of darkened brick with stone dressings and feature a slate roof. They rise to four storeys and have a dormered mansard roof. The façade is four windows wide, with the ground floor featuring a mid-20th century shop front. The upper floors still have recessed glazing bar sashes set within painted architraves. A painted stone moulded cornice with a fluted frieze is located below the parapet, which has coping.
