Description

This mid- to late 19th-century building on Chancery Lane is a well-executed example of Classical design, constructed in stucco. It is four storeys high with a symmetrical facade of three windows. The ground storey features an enriched arcade. A large, decorative cornice tops the building. Originally a public house, it is recognised for its particularly rich architectural quality, though the interior has been altered.
