Description
The Church of All Saints is a Grade II* listed building located on Wandsworth High Street. The tower dates from 1630 but was refaced and raised in 1841. The main body of the church was largely rebuilt in 1779 by surveyor William Jupp, with further alterations and improvements made in 1841 and additional changes in 1859. The chancel and a new roof were added between 1899 and 1900 by E W Mountford. The church is constructed of amber brick and features round-arched windows with gauged yellow brick arches, topped with a slate roof. The south porch projects in two bays and is supported by modified Corinthian columns, with a plain frieze and a mutule cornice that includes a pediment. Inside, the galleried space is tunnel-vaulted and supported by marbled wood Doric columns. The church also contains various monuments.
