Description
The Railway Bridge (Southern Region), dated 1865, features cast iron facings and a parapet, originally part of a wrought iron single-span bridge that has since been replaced. The bridge is supported by yellow stock brick abutments designed as piers, which include stone dressings. The spandrels display the Railway's coat of arms along with oak foliage. This bridge was constructed by the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway.
