Description
Dunbar Wharf consists of four warehouses numbered 136, 136½, 138, and 140, built around the mid-19th century. These warehouses are constructed from stock brick and feature slate roofs. The waterside elevations are mostly three storeys high, although the western warehouse is two storeys. The windows have segmental arches, with the windows of each warehouse typically arranged on either side of a central door. The western warehouse has a weatherboarded facade with long windows positioned under the eaves. The second warehouse from the east includes an end door rank. The warehouses at Dunbar Wharf, along with Nos 142, 148, and 150, form a cohesive group above Limekiln Dock.
