Description

The Black Eagle Brewery is a mid to late 18th century brick building located on the east side of Brick Lane. It features open pediments with paired brackets on the sides, a clock in the tympanum, and a louvred cupola topped with a weathervane. Above the ground floor, there are three segmental-headed recessed windows with glazing bars that continue through the first and second floors. On the left side, the return elevation connects with an eight-bay link to other buildings. The structures of Black Eagle Brewery, situated on both sides of Brick Lane, form a cohesive group.
