Description

The Statue of William Booth is a Grade II listed bronze bust located on the north side of Mile End Road, E1. The bust is mounted on a square plinth made of white stone, which features chamfered corners. An inscription on the plinth reads: "William Booth Founder and First General of The Salvation Army. Commenced the work of the Salvation Army on Mile End Waste. July 1865".
