Description
The tower of the former Christchurch and Upton Chapel is a Grade II listed structure located on the south side of Westminster Bridge Road. This five-stage tower features a spire, with angle turrets that have spirelets. It is constructed from snecked rubble of Kentish rag stone, accented with Portland stone dressings. The top stage is made of ashlar and includes bell-openings. Designed in the Early English style, it showcases tall lancet windows and angle buttresses. The spire is banded with red sandstone and includes lucarnes.
