Description

These are a group of houses at 1-6 St Leonard's Terrace, dating from the mid-19th century. They are part of a larger terrace and are faced with yellow brick and stucco. Number 1 is three storeys high and has three windows, with two windows on the return. It is stuccoed, with quoins and window dressings. The corner of the building is shaped in a quadrant and is pilastered around the storey, likely having once been a public house. Numbers 2, 3, and 4 are four storeys high, with a basement. They are built of brick with a stuccoed ground storey, and have window dressings. The top storey is an attic. An iron-railed balcony is present on the first floor. Numbers 5 and 6 are three storeys high and stuccoed, with a slated mansard roof. They also feature iron-railed balconies on the first floor. Number 6 has a single window and an ogee roof to its balcony, with an entrance on the return side.
