Description

The Church of St Andrew is a late 19th-century church constructed of red brick with stone dressings and a roof that is partly slate and partly tiled. It features a spire to the south-west. The church comprises a nave, aisles, a narthex, a lower east end, and an aisled clerestory. Built in the Geometrical Gothic style, the church has a three-stage tower with an entrance on the lower level. The tower is surmounted by an ashlar broach spire with pinnacles. The west window contains five lights, while the clerestory and aisles primarily feature two-light windows. The roof is steeply pitched and has prominent eaves.
