Description
A terrace of twenty-seven houses, numbered 1 to 27, built in 1868. The houses are three storeys high with an attic and basement. Each house has two windows. The houses are constructed of brick, with channelled stucco to the ground floor. A three-storey canted bay window extends from the basement to the first floor of each house, topped with a balustrade. Each house has a recessed door within a shallow porch, approached by a balustraded staircase. The first-floor window above the door is surmounted by a segmental pediment resting on consoles. A Vitruvian scroll and dentil cornice runs along the building. A balustraded parapet sits above the cornice, and segmental-headed dormers pierce the mansard roof. Area railings are present. The terrace is one of two that have been exceptionally well-preserved.
