The chapel at the College of St Mark and St John is a building of group value, dating from 1841. It was designed by Edward Blore, working alongside Derwent Coleridge, who was the college’s first principal. The chapel is built in Romanesque style using Suffolk brick and has a cruciform plan featuring an apsidal east end. It includes gabled transepts which connect to the nave via small turrets, and a turret is also present at the west end of the nave.
