Description

The Old House is a dwelling house located on Holland Street, dating from the mid-18th century. It stands three storeys tall with an attic and features four windows across its facade. The building is constructed of brown brick with red window arches and has an old tiled roof that extends to a parapet. The ground floor has been stuccoed. A notable feature is the pedimented doorcase, flanked by iron scrolls on the railings beside the door, which also includes a lampholder. There is a plaque indicating that this was the house of Walter Crane.
