Description

This is a terrace of houses built in the late 19th century as part of Earls Court Square. The houses are constructed of red brick, with painted stone or stucco dressings. They have tiled mansard roofs. Nos. 30-38 have three storeys, including a roof storey, while Nos. 40-52 have four storeys, including two in the roof. Each house is two windows wide and features a canted two-storey bay window to the right, except for Nos. 34, 36 and 38. The bay windows have arched lights, and Nos. 40, 42, 44 and 46 have brick tracery in the spandrel above the arch. The windows are a mix of sashes and casements, with leaded lights or wooden glazing bars in the upper storey. Each house has a gable and original area railings. Original front doors remain.
