Description
The Benson Building, located next to Wesley's Chapel, was constructed in 1880, likely designed by Charles Bell. This building features a range of windows facing the forecourt and is built from yellow brick with stucco dressings. The roof is hidden behind a parapet. It stands three storeys high and has a five-window range. The ground-floor windows are round-arched, adorned with archivolts and a springing band. The first and second-floor windows are segmental-arched, also featuring archivolts and a springing band, with a sill band present. A cornice and blocking course complete the design.
