Description
The Chapel Keeper's House at Wesley's Chapel is a house dating from the late 18th century that has been altered. It is constructed of yellow brick laid in Flemish bond with stucco dressings and has a slate roof. The building is three storeys high and features a three-window range with a double-fronted design. The corners are highlighted by stucco chamfered quoins.
The entrance is round-arched and includes a stucco surround, an architrave, a keystone, floral decorations in the spandrels, and a cornice. The ground-floor windows are also round-arched with stucco architraves and keystones, while the first- and second-floor windows are flat-arched with architraves. The first-floor windows have a pulvinated frieze and cornice. A moulded stucco cornice runs along the top, and the roof is hipped with one stack on the ridge and another at the rear. This building is included for its group value.
