Description

This is an early to mid-19th century stucco-fronted house on High Street, Hornsey. It is two storeys tall with an attic and basement, and has three windows. The house is of a fairly large scale. It has a low-pitched slate roof, now punctuated by three modern dormers that break the eaves. Late 19th century sash windows are present; those on the first floor are set within moulded architraves with detached cornices and bracketed sills. The three ground-floor windows, each with three panes, have blind cases and are complemented by stuccoed balconies with anthemion-headed cast iron railings. A moulded architrave frames the central door, which is accessed via a pedimented, prostyle porch. A section of a rear extension is visible on the right side.
