Description

This cast iron lamp column, dating from around 1870, was cast by A. Williams of Southwark. It features a moulded base with a fluted band and a circular stem adorned with several bands of chevron ornament towards the top. There are ladder rests with scrolled decoration, and the upper pair of branched stems also display scrolled decoration. At the time of inspection, the pendant lanterns were missing. This attractive lamp standard has group value with other listed items nearby.
