Description
168 and 170 Homerton High Street is a mid to late 18th century pair of buildings, each standing three storeys high with a basement and featuring three windows. They are constructed from stock brick and topped with a stone-coped parapet. The sash windows are adorned with gauged flat red brick arches. The second floor windows of No 170 and all upper windows of No 168 have been replaced with modern casements. No 168 has a door that features four fielded panels and two beaded panels, set within a Doric doorcase that includes engaged columns and an open pediment. This door frames a radial fanlight within a narrow moulded architrave. The ground floor of No 170 is covered by a modern warehouse building, which is included in the listing as it is inseparable from No 168.
