Description
This is an early 19th century terrace of five houses, located on the west side of Shepherdess Walk in Islington. Each house is three storeys high with a basement, and has two windows. The houses are constructed of stock brick, topped with a stone coped parapet. The sash windows have glazing bars and are set within stucco-lined reveals, with gauged flat brick arches above. A band runs along the first floor level. Three steps lead up to the front doors. Number 3 features an elliptical arch to its ground floor window. Number 1 has a stuccoed ground floor with a segmental arched window; number 5 has a later 19th-century shop front. Wrought iron area railings are present. The buildings are currently empty and boarded up.
