Description

The front garden walls to numbers 237 to 243 (odd) on Hackney Road are red brick structures that date back to the early 18th century. Most of the walls feature sloped brick coping. The wall at number 241 is lower and has a stone coping, along with three stone-capped square piers and wrought iron railings. The north garden wall of number 243 is also low and includes cast iron railings with spearhead standards and urn finials. Together, the garden walls of numbers 229 to 243 (odd) form a cohesive group.
