Description
29 Fleet Street is a building dated 1860, designed by W.G. Bartlett. It has three storeys and an attic, featuring a narrow three-bay frontage made of Portland stone and red granite. The building is adorned with richly carved decoration on the capitals of the pilasters and the spandrels. A heavy cornice with dentils and brackets projects forward over the central bay. The attic includes an elaborate central dormer with a semi-circular pediment that contains a shell tympanum.
