Description

Nos 13 and 14 Fleet Street, built in the mid-19th century, are classical buildings made of Portland stone. They rise four storeys with an attic above a prominent cornice and are three bays wide, featuring quoins at the party walls. The ground floor is distinguished by an order of engaged Tuscan columns, with the entablature breaking forward over these columns. The first-floor windows have bracketed cornices, while the second-floor windows have plain cornices. The third floor, which is part of the attic, features simple moulded surrounds for its windows.
