Description

No. 5 Denmark Street is a terraced house with a later shop, built around 1686-1689 as part of an estate development by Samuel Fortrey and Jacques Wiseman. The building features multi-coloured stock brick with stucco keystones and a string course at the first floor. It has four storeys, with the fourth storey being a later addition, and three windows. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front. The windows have gauged red brick flat arches and flush frame sashes, some of which include glazing bars and exposed boxing. The building is topped with a parapet. The interior has not been inspected.
