Description
This is a terrace of four houses located at 18-21 Little Russell Street, built in the early 18th century and refronted in the mid 19th century. The houses are constructed of stucco and rise to four storeys. Each house has two windows, except for No. 18, which has three. The doorways are architraved and feature console bracketed cornices, rectangular fanlights, and panelled doors. There is a bracketed sill band at the first floor and a plain band at the third floor level. The ground, first, and second floors have architraved sash windows, with the first floor windows featuring cornices. The third floor has plain recessed sashes. The cornice includes a pulvinated frieze, although this is missing from No. 19, and there is a blocking course above. The interiors have not been inspected, but it is noted that they retain early 18th century plain panelling with box cornices and dog-leg staircases with moulded balusters.
