Description

The Guild House (south wing) is a shop with accommodation above, located at No. 18 on Tower Street in Camden. This building dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of yellow stock brick with rusticated stucco dressings. It stands at four storeys tall and features a stucco shopfront with pilasters and consoles that support a cornice. The shop windows and doorways have been altered, but the building retains gauged flat brick arches (painted) above recessed tripartite sash windows with original glazing bars. The corner of the building has a rusticated stucco treatment with blind openings, and there are round-arched windows on the first and third floors. A stucco cornice and blocking course complete the design. The interior has not been inspected.
