Description
Lock Keeper's Cottage on the Grand Union Canal is a building designed as a pumping house in 1898 by Sir John Wolfe Barry and converted into a dwelling in 1926. It is constructed of yellow stock brick and features a slated, gabled roof. The cottage is a single storey with an irregular facade of five windows facing the canal. There is a doorway that leads into a 20th-century glazed porch, along with segmental arched windows and a canted bay. The interior has not been inspected.
