Description
This is an early 19th-century terraced house and shop, now used as a house and restaurant. The building is built of Flemish bond brick, with a slate mansard roof and a brick end stack. It has four storeys and two windows. Mid-20th century shop windows are set into a mid-19th century architrave, featuring pilasters supporting a bracketed cornice and glazing bars. To the right of the shop windows is a panelled door with an overlight. The first floor has gauged brick flat arches over plate glass sashes set in semicircular arched recesses, linked by stone imposts. The second floor has nine-pane sashes with a wide continuous band beneath the sills. Pear-drop dentils are present on the cornice. The interior features a stick baluster staircase and some decorative cornices.
