Description
Cullums Cottage is a lodge cottage built in 1843, featuring a Y-plan layout and 1½ storeys with attics. It has one window on each face and is constructed from flint rubble with red brick dressings. The gables have a Flemish parapet design with brick copings. The roofs are slated and adorned with ornate crested ridge tiles. There are three attached chimneys that have diaper-patterned tiles at their bases, although the shafts were replaced in the 20th century. The cottage has 20th-century casements set in splayed 19th-century brick openings, which include brick hood-moulds. The entrance door is a 20th-century panelled design.
