Description

The barn at Hall Farmhouse dates back to the 16th century and was originally part of a double moated manor house. It retains many original features from its time as a hall. The exterior showcases exposed timber-framing with brick nogging, indicating it was designed as a two-storey structure, and it has several original window openings that are now blocked. The south-east side of the barn is weatherboarded, and the roof is thatched. Inside, there are likely remnants of a range of rooms along the south-west side, where several four-centred arched doorways can still be found.
