Description
The almshouses in Wickhambrook are a range of 17th century timber-framed and plastered buildings, constructed by Anthony Sparrow in 1615. A tablet on the site indicates that they were restored in 1897, during which time the doors and windows were updated. The almshouses feature casement windows with glazing bars and have a thatched roof. They are part of a group that includes the Church of All Saints, The Old Vicarage, White Horse House, Nos 1 to 3 (consecutive), and Sunnyside.
