Description

50 and 51 Guildhall Street are a pair of houses built in the early to mid 19th century. They are constructed from white brick and covered with slate roofs, situated on a corner site and part of a group that includes Nos 37 and 38 Westgate Street. The buildings are two storeys high with cellars and feature a three-window range. The windows are sashes without glazing bars, set in plain reveals with flat stucco arches and keystones. There are two end doors, each a six-panel design with plain rectangular fanlights, framed by wooden surrounds with pilasters and flat cornice hoods. The interior shows no apparent features earlier than the 19th century.
