Description

Malting Farmhouse is a 17th century timber-framed and plastered house, positioned well back from the road with a grassy area in front. The building has two storeys, along with a single storey extension at the northeast end. The northwest front features horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars and a gabled porch. The southeast front displays a jettied upper storey supported by brackets. The windows on this side are casements, also with glazing bars. The roof is tiled and hipped at the southwest end.
