Description

Mill Cottage, formerly listed as Mill House, is an early 19th-century mill house located on Woolpit Road in Drinkstone. It is a single-storey building with attics and features a three-cell plan. The structure is timber-framed and plastered, topped with a glazed pantiled gambrel roof that has an axial chimney made of red brick, along with another chimney at the gable end. The cottage has three segmental-headed dormers with sash windows, as well as casement and sash windows throughout. The entrance features a panelled door beneath an open gabled porch with a slated roof supported by posts. This building is included for its group value.
