Description

Little Thatch and Linden are two houses that were originally built as one three-cell house, likely in the 17th century or earlier. The plaster date found on the right-hand gable, 1722, may refer to the original structure or more likely to a modernization from that time. The buildings are one storey with attics, constructed from timber framing and plaster. They feature a thatched roof with eyebrow casement dormers and an axial chimney from the 17th century made of narrow gault bricks, which was recapped in the 19th century with red brick. The windows are 20th-century casements, and there are boarded entrance doors from the 19th century. At Linden, there is a gabled open porch supported by posts. The interior has not been examined.
