Description
Kiln Farm House is a house, which was later used as a public house, dating from the mid to late 17th century and altered in the 20th century. It features a timber frame that is plastered and has a thatched roof. The building has a three-bay, three-cell plan and is one storey with an attic. The entrance leads into a parlour on the right, with 1 and 2-light 20th-century casement windows. There is a 2-light gabled dormer to the left of centre with a plain-tiled surround. A ridge stack is located to the right of centre between the hall and parlour. The gable end has 2-light casements, exposed plates, and purlins, with part of the structure being brick-cased to the left. At the rear, there is a boarded door and a 2-light casement window. Inside, the frame is concealed, and there are stop-chamfered joists.
