Description

Wortwell Mill is a disused watermill that has not been operational since the early 1950s. It is dated inside to 1785 and features a timber frame with weatherboarding set on a high tarred red brick base, topped by a black glazed pantile roof. The mill includes a lucam and has various window openings. Although the waterwheel has been removed, one pair of grinding stones and the main drive machinery remain inside.
