Description

This is a former Rectory, now divided into flats. The building has a 16th-century timber-frame core, with significant alterations in the early 19th century and mid-19th century. The west front is built of white brick, while the east front has a rendered finish in a Tudor style. The building is two storeys high and has a complex form. The roofs are covered in plain tiles on the east side and slates on the west.

The west (garden) front is primarily faced in white brick and features a moulded parapet with sunk panels. It also has two rounded bay projections, each with three windows on each storey. The upper-storey windows are small-paned sashes in shallow reveals, topped with moulded cast iron lintels. The ground-storey windows are long cross windows extending to ground level, with additional horizontal glazing-bars and cast iron lintels matching those above. A tripartite sash window is above the front door, which is sheltered by a cast-iron openwork porch.
