Description
Foxboro Hall is a country mansion built in the early 19th century. It features a stucco exterior on brick and has slated hipped roofs, designed in an 'L' shape with set-back wings. The building stands two storeys tall, with a three-storey central block that has a pediment. The windows are arranged in a pattern of one bay each, with sash windows that include narrow sidelights, glazing bars, and louvred shutters. The ground floor windows are adorned with moulded cornices. A central semi-circular prostyle portico is supported by Ionic columns and attached half columns in a giant order, topped with a plain entablature and a parapet that has three recessed panels. The pedimented block features two windows, which are three-light casements.
