Description

Burgh Mill is a tower mill built in 1842 by John Whitmore, a millwright from Wickham Market. It is constructed of white Flemish bond brick and has seven floors with battered walls. The mill features openings on four sides, some of which are blocked in the top three stages, all having cambered heads and cross windows. The upper body shows signs of spalled brick. The cap, sails, and all internal machinery have been removed. To the north of the mill, there is a two-storey store building, and to the west, there is an engine house.
