Description

St John's Terrace, built in 1852, features two houses, Nos 1 and 2. These mid-19th century buildings are two stories high with an attic, each having one window and a central blank panel on the first floor. They are constructed of red brick with yellow dressings, which include flank pilasters, an eaves band, window cases, and cases for the coupled entrances. The houses have four-panel doors with oblong fanlights and sash windows that include glazing bars. The roofs are slate, with one dormer for each house. Nos 1 and 2 are part of a group that includes Alma House on St John's Hill.
