Description

This is an 18th-century building on Bridge Street, comprising Nos. 28 to 32. It is two storeys and has an attic with two dormers, the roof covered in pantiles. The building is constructed of brick, which has been painted. It features a cove cornice and a brick band. There are four windows, with near-flush sashes. The west window retains glazing bars, while the remaining windows have glazing bars in the centre. Original bow shop windows are present, but only No. 30 retains its original glazing bars within wooden cases. The front door at No. 30 is a six-panel design with a cornice frieze and architrave. No. 32 has a door with four flush panels. The building forms a group with Nos. 2, 4, 6A, 12 to 20 (even), 24 to 34 (even), 40 to 44 (even), 48 and 50.
