Description

The Royal William Inn is an 18th-century building located on Theatre Street, constructed in 1852. It is two stories high with an attic and features one gabled dormer. The exterior has a modern red brick and rough-cast finish that covers earlier work. The roof is tiled. At the first floor, there are mullion transom casements. The entrance has a four-panel door, which is fielded and set within a wooden case that includes shaped consoles and a pediment.
