Description

River House is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys tall. It features three windows and a central projection with a glazed porch. The exterior is finished in stucco, which is lined and painted. There is a deep band below the eaves soffit, and the roof is hipped and covered with slate. The windows are mainly flush-frame sash windows with glazing bars. On either side of the house, there are glazed verandahs. The property is set within a lawned garden. River House is part of a group of listed buildings on The Croft (West Side).
