Description

Elm House is an early to mid-19th century white brick house located in Great Cornard. It stands two storeys tall and features a three-window range. The upper storey has double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground storey has French casements with stucco architraves and cornices. A central doorway is framed by a wide "Tuscan" portico supported by plain columns in antis, topped with a cornice. The upper storey windows are fitted with louvred shutters, and the roof is hipped and covered with slate.
